Description / Table of Contents:
Addition of the ω,ω′-dihydropolysiloxanes and -silmethylenes to trimethylallyloxysilane in presence of H2PtCl6 and subsequent acidic elimination of the trimethylsiloxy group gave the ω,ω′-bis-(γ-hydroxypropyl)-polysiloxanes and ψlmethylenes (formula I, R = (CH2)3OH). As byproducts the monoalcohols with one Si—H-endgroup formed (formula I, R = H).Addition of the ω,ω′-dihydropolysiloxanes to benzylideneallylamine in presence of H2PtCl6 gave the mono- and di-addition products. By acidic hydrolysis of the di-SCHIFF bases the ω,ω′-bis-(γ-aminopropyl)tpolysiloxanes were obtained (formula II). The organosilicon di-alcohols (formula I, R = (CH2)3OH) were used for polyaddition with diverse diisocyanates in a molar ratio of 1:1, producing polyurethanes of molecular weights of 2200-5500. Polyaddition with 1,4-phenylendiisocyanate in a molar ratio of 1:1,5 and 1:2 yielded polyurethanes with two isocyanate endgroups (formula III), degree of polyaddition of about 2-5, These polyurethanes with isocyanate endgroups reacted with 1,3-bis-(γ-aminopropyl)-disiloxane (formula II, n = 1) yielding products of higher molecular weight with urea groups.
Notes:
