Summary 1. An experimental investigation was carried out on the effect of the copper ion concentration and the acidity in the electrolyte, the current density, temperature, and frequency of removal of powder from the cathode on the current efficiency of copper powder. 2. It is shown that the current efficiency increases substantially with an increase in the copper ion content in the solution, the temperature of the electrolyte, and an increase in the duration of powder formation on the cathode. An increase in the cathode current density and the acidity of the electrolyte leads to a decrease in current efficiency. 3. The effect of various electrolysis factors on the dispersity of copper powder is examined.
