Aus Nickel(II)-phthalimid und Ammoniak, aliphatischen Aminen sowie einigen Diaminen wurden Komplexverbindungen der allgemeinen Formel Ni(phthalimid)2 · (Amin)2 hergestellt. Aus Leitfähigkeits- und kryoskopischen Messungen an Lösungen in Nitrobenzol geht hervor, daß diese Verbindungen in Nitrobenzol Nichtelektrolyte sind, d. h. daß auch das Phthalimidion als starker Ligand an das Ni(II) gebunden ist.

Co-ordination complexes between nickel(II) phthalimide and ammonia, some aliphatic amines and a few diamines have been prepared. The molecular formulae on the basis of percentages of constituent elements are Ni(phthalimide)2 · (amine)2. Conductivity measurements in nitrobenzene indicate the complexes to be nonelectrolytes and hence it is suggested that the phthalimide ions are also coordinated. Molecular weight measurements in the same solvent confirm this.
