Notes:
Experiments with rats feeded with fluorinated fats have shown that fluorine is quickly resorbed by the organism and that the fluorine content of the teeth is increased. In contrast with anorganic salts of fluorine, which cause troubles in the calcification of the teeth, no trouble is observed after feeding of fluorinated fats. For harding the enamel of the teeth the incorporation of fluorinated fats is therefore a better method than the fluorination of drinking-water.
