    Notes: Zusammenfassung Die Einwände, die vonUhlenhuth undSeiffert gegen die Versuche erhoben worden sind, auf die sich die Nekrohormonhypothese zum Teil aufbaut, sind nicht begründet. Es bestehtkein unmittelbarer Zusammenhang zwischen der Virulenz eines Tumors und der durch ihn hervorgerufenen Resistenzsteigerung im Organismus. Dieser Zusammenhang ist vielmehr einindirekter. Er beruht auf der der Proliferationsenergie des Tumors parallel gehenden Nekrotisierung des Tumorgewebes, dessen Abbauprodukte (Nekrohormone) in den Kreislauf gelangen und Immunitätsreaktionen im Wirtsorganismus auslösen.
