Description / Table of Contents: Zusammenfassung Suicidale Vergiftung einer 34jährigen Patientin mit Chinin.
Notes: Summary Suicidal poisoning of a 34 year old woman with quinine is described. During the first week of treatment, there developed seven cardiac arrests as well as irreversible eye lesions. The quinine ingested could be identified both qualitatively and quantitatively by a special chemical, spectrophotometric method. Discussed are morphologically discernible CNS substrates which might be held responsible for the ensuing eye changes and psychic alterations observed.
