    Description / Table of Contents: Zusammenfassung Nach § 19 StGB sind Kinder unter 14 Jahren schuldunfähig. Ihr Anteil an Tötungsdelikten und gefährlichen bzw. schweren Körperverletzungen betrug für das Jahr 1978 in der Bundesrepublik Deutschland je 0,7%. Eine quantitative Untersuchung über die physische Fähigkeit der Kinder, Intensivtaten zu begehen, ist bisher nicht bekannt geworden. Deshalb wurden die manuell erreichbaren Stoßintensitäten von einem Kollektiv 12- und 13jähriger Knaben quantitativ für drei Stoßrichtungen untersucht und mit den von Männern (21 bis 70 Jahre) erreichten Ergebnissen verglichen. Nach den von den Kindern erzielten Resultaten ist die Vorstellung der Erwachsenen zu korrigieren. Für 12- und 13jährige Knaben sind nicht per se „ mangelnde physische Kräfte“ bei Gewaltdelikten zu unterstellen.
    Notes: Summary Within the criminal statistics of the FRG for 1978 children aged under 14 were engaged in homicides and severe personal injury 0.7%. By law they cannot be prose cuted. Until now there has been no published information about the thrust momentums of children's capability to injure someone. Therefore, the following questions were considered: Which quantitative results do children aged 12 and 13 achieve in thrust momentums (impact velocity, impact energy and impact impulse)? What is the influence of several thrust directions? What about the optimum results of boys compared with the average results of men aged 21–70? A group of 30 boys was tested for three varying but specified thrust directions. The impact velocities (m/s) and impact energies (daNm) were measured. The impact impulse (kg m/s) could be computed. Significant differences were shown between “work-hand“ and “non-work-hand“ as well as between average results of the boys and men. The optimum results of the boys were mostly higher than the average results of men. The current concept about the attainable thrust momentums by boys aged 12 and 13 should be corrected. In spite of their childhood they are physically undoubtedly able to inflict deadly injuries. The quantitative relations between the injury and its necessary thrust momentums can exclude certain thrust directions demonstrated in court and indicate the intention of the performer.     Notes: The vibrational spectra of bis(dimethylamino)boranes, [(CH3)2N]2BX with X = H, D, CH3 or CD3 have been examined and assignments to the fundamental vibrations are supported by the results of a normal coordinate analysis. In addition, some nuclear magnetic resonance data on bis(dimethylamino)boranes are discussed.

Reaktionen von Dimethylaminoboranen mit PyrazolIn Abhängigkeit von den Reaktionsbedingungen führt die Umsetzung von Tris(dimethylamino)boran mit Pyrazol (Hpz) zu (CH3)2HNBpz3 (III) oder den Pyrazabolen B2pz4[N(CH3)2]2 (IV, cis- und trans-Isomeres), B2pz5N(CH3)2 (Va) oder B2pz6. Die Reaktion scheint über das äußerst kurzlebige [(CH3)2N]2Bpz und  -  insbesondere  -  monomeres (CH3)2NBpz2 zu verlaufen; letztere Verbindung kann massenspektroskopisch identifiziert werden. Im System Bis(dimethylamino)phenylboran-Pyrazol wurden (CH3)2HNB(C6H5)pz2 und das Pyrazabol B2pz3(C6H5)2N(CH3)2 (VII, cis- und trans-Isomeres) erhalten. Außerdem wurden einige Daten des Pyrazabols B2pz2(C6H5)2[N(CH3)2]2 erhalten, obwohl die Verbindung nicht im Reinzustand isoliert werden konnte. Die Existenz von monomerem (CH3)2NB(C6H5)pz konnte nachgewiesen werden.
    Notes: Depending on the reaction conditions, the interaction of tris(dimethylamino)borane with pyrazole (Hpz) yields (CH3)2HNBpz3 (III) or the pyrazaboles B2pz4[N(CH3)2]2 (IV, cis and trans isomer), B2pz5N(CH3)2 (Va), or B2pz6. There is evidence that the reactions proceed via the extremely short-lived [(CH3)2N]2 Bpz and, in particular, monomeric (CH3)2NBpz2; the latter species can be identified in the mass spectrometer. In the system bis(dimethylamino)phenylborane/pyrazole the species (CH3)2HNB(C6H5)pz2 and the pyrazabole B2pz3(C6H5)2N(CH3)2 (VII, cis and trans isomer) were obtained. Also, some data on the pyrazabole B2pz2(C6H5)2[N(CH3)2]2 were collected although the compound could not be isolated in the pure state. The existence of the monomer (CH3)2NB(C6H5)pz could be established.

Properties, Adduct Formation, and Extraction of Nickel(II) Chelates with n-Alkyl-8-quinolinols Containing Long Chain SubstituentsThe nickel(II) chelates of 5- and 7-nonyl-, 5- and 7-decyl- and 5-chlor-7-decyl-8-quinolinol as well as adducts with water and ammonia were synthesized and characterized by spectra and magnetic moments. The existence of associated forms was concluded. To characterize the influence of substituents the stability and composition of pyridine adducts in solution were determined. Finally the extraction of nickel(II) was studied, and a comparison of extraction data with acid and coordination stability constants was made in the case of the isomeric nonyl-8-quinolinols.
    Notes: Es wurden die Nickelchelate sowie Aquo- und Amminaddukte von 5- und 7-Nonyl-, 5- und 7-Decyl- sowie 5-Chlor-7-decylchinolin-8-ol dargestellt und spektroskopisch wie magnetochemisch untersucht. Daraus ist auf das Vorliegen assoziierter Formen zu schließen. Der Charakterisierung des Substituenteneinflusses diente die Bestimmung von Stabilität und Zusammensetzung der Pyridinaddukte in Lösung. Schließlich wurde die Extraktion von Nickel untersucht und am Beispiel der isomeren Nonylchinolin-8-ole ein Vergleich der Extraktionsdaten mit Säure- und Komplexstabilitätskonstanten vorgenommen.
