Zusammenfassung Spätfolgen von Verbrennungen der Hände lassen sich je nach Ausdehnung und Mitbeteiligung tieferer Strukturen in 4 Typen einteilen. Von 88 operierten Händen gehörten 43% zu Typ I, 28% zu Typ II, 25% zu Typ III und 4% zum multilierenden Typ IV. Klinische Beispiele vom Typ I, bei dem alleinige Eingriffe an der Haut zur Funktionswiederherstellung führen und vom Typ III, bei dem wiederholte Eingriffe an Streckaponeurosen, Sehnen, Bändern und Gelenken zur Funktionsverbesserung führen, werden vorgestellt.

Summary Late consequences of burns of the hands can be divided into four types, depending on the extent and the involvement of the underlying tissue structure. Of 88 hands operated on, 43% were type, 28% were type II, 25% were type III, and only 4% belonged to the multilated type IV. Clinical examples of types I and III are shown. Type I only requires an operation on the skin to restore full function of the hand, whereas type III also needs repeated surgical treatment of the dorsal apparatus, tendons, ligaments and joints to improve hand movement.
