    Description / Table of Contents: 77Se-NMR-Investigations of Bis-Chelates with Heterocyclic 1,2-Dichalcogenolates77Se-n.m.r. chemical shifts of metal(II)- and metal(III)-bis-chelates of 1,3-diselenole-2-selone-4,5-diselenolate (dsis), 1,3-dithiole-2-selone-4,5-diselenolate (dsise), 1,3-dithiole-2-selone-4,5-dithiolate (dmise) and 1,3-dithiole-2-thione-4,5-diselenolate (dsit) and relaxation times T1 (spain-lattice relaxation time) of the Se nucleus of (Bu4N)2[Zn(dsit)2], (Bu4N)2[Zn(dmise)2] and (Bu4N)2[Zn(dsise)2] are reported. Comparisons are made between 77Se-n.m.r. chemical shifts and the nature of coordination centre and coordination geometry.

    Description / Table of Contents: Synthesis and Characterization of Metallocene Chelates of Heterocyclic 1,2-DiselenolatesSynthesis and properties of metallocen diselenolates Cp2RML (CpR = η5-C5H4CH3 (Cp′); η5-C5(CH3)4 C2H5 (Cpo)) of titanium(IV) and vanadium(IV) with L = dsit (1,3-dithiole-2-thione-4,5-diselenolate), dsise (1,3-dithiole-2-selone-4,5-diselenolate) dsitse (1,3-thiaselenole-2-selone-4,5-diselenolate) and dsis (1,3-diselenole-2-selone-4,5-diselenolate) are described. The structures of these compounds in solution are discussed using 1H, 13C, 77Se NMR and EPR data. Their voltammetric behaviour is investigated in dichloromethane. The activation parameters of the chelate ring inversion of the titanocene diselenolates (Cp2RTiL) and the x-ray structures of Cp2′Ti(dsit), Cp2oTi(dsit); Cp2oTi(dsise) (2 modifications) and Cp2oTi(dsis) are reported.

Die Strukturen der Verbindungen in Lösung werden anhand der 1H-, 13C-, 77Se-NMR- und EPR-Spektren sowie ihres Redoxverhaltens diskutiert. Die durch dynamische Kernresonanzspektroskopie bestimmten Aktivierungsparameter der Chelatringinversion der Titanocen-Diselenolate (CpR2TiL), sowie die Röntgenkristallstrukturanalysen von Cp′2Ti(dsit), Cp2oTi(dsit); Cp2oTi(dsise) (2 Modifikationen) und Cp2oTi(dsise) werden vorgestellt.

    Description / Table of Contents: EPR Studies on Oxovanadium(IV) Bis-Complexes of 1,2-Dithio LigandsEPR investigations on oxovanadium(IV) bis-complexes containing the ligands 1,3-dithiol-2-thione-4,5-dithiolate, dmit2-, 1,2-dithiol-3-thione-4,5-dithiolate, dmt2-, and 1,2-dithiooxalate are reported. The parameters of the spin-Hamiltonian are used to characterize the bonding properties, and are compared with those obtained for the corresponding VOS4 chelates containing four-membered chelate rings. According to this a successful characterization of VOS4 type mixed-ligand complexes should be possible.
    Notes: Über EPR-Untersuchungen an Oxovanadium(IV)-bis-Komplexen der Liganden 1,3-Dithiol-2-thion-4,5-dithiolat, dmit2-, 1,2-Dithiol-3-thion-4,5-dithiolat, dmt2-, und 1,2-Dithiooxalat wird berichtet. Die erhaltenen Parameter des Spin-HAMILTON-Operators werden zur Charakterisierung der Bindungsverhältnisse benutzt und mit den für relevante VOS4-Vierringchelate erhaltenen verglichen. Der Parametervergleich eröffnet Möglichkeiten zur erfolgreichen Charakterisierung von Gemischtliganden-Komplexen, die eine VOS4-Koordinationssphäre enthalten.
