Ion Exchange of Porous Glasses with Different Structure and TextureIon exchange properties of porous glasses are influenced by the conditions of preparation, specially by the composition and the thermal treatment of the Na2O—B2O3—SiO2 glasses (influence of structure and texture).Porous glasses are stronger polar and acidic than pure SiO2 surfaces because of BOH groups and B2O3 clusters.As a function of pH cations are exchanged in a different extent in aqueous solution; in a more acidic region there is an adsorption of complexes of polyvalent cations.

Die an porösen Gläsern festgestellten Ionenaustauscheigenschaften werden durch die Herstellungsbedingungen der porösen Gläser, vor allem durch die Zusammensetzung und die Thermobehandlung der Na2O—B2O3—SiO2-Gläser, beeinflußt (Struktur- und Textureinfluß).Poröse Gläser sind aufgrund der nachgewiesenen BOH-Gruppen bzw. B2O3-Cluster stärker polar und acider als reine SiO2-Oberflächen.Aus wäßrigen Lösungen werden in Abhängigkeit vom pH-Wert Kationen in unterschiedlichem Maße ausgetauscht, im stärker sauren Gebiet tritt eine Adsorption von Komplexen mehrwertiger Kationen auf (UO22+).
