Notes: Summary A total inventory about the sociopsychological situation of german air-traffic controllers (N = 517) with data on nominal scales was analysed by cluster analysis. The results of the multivariate analysis were compared with those of univariate analysis by Singer and Rutenfranz (1972) in methodology and substance: Clusters concerning the family situation specify statements to the “typical controller”. Mean rankings of importance of variables of the work-situation are split into groups of contradictory meanings and are related to job satisfaction. Groups of controllers with good job satisfaction are separated from the dissatisfied. Negative estimations of the career are substantiated by clusters. Special problems of some airports are filtered out. The collectif of all air traffic controllers is structured according to subjective health status, symptoms of illness and therapeutics. Relations between health disturbances and job satisfaction, stress and rankings of importance of aspects of work situation are pointed out and partially explained with motivation- and job-satisfaction theories.

Notes: Abstract On the basis of studies of about 100 collections of the groupConocybe mesospora and after comparison of extra-European material we conclude that, within the European representatives of this complex, it is necessary to distinguish nine species and two varieties. Three new species are described:Conocybe subxerophytica Sing. & Hauskn.,C. minima Sing. & Hauskn. andC. roberti Sing. & Hauskn. C. mesospora var.subalpina Sing. is now recognized as an autonomous species, butC. brunneola (Kühn. ex)Kühn. & Watling is understood as variety ofC. microspora (Velen.)Dennis. C. excedens var.pseudomesospora Sing. & Hauskn. is described as a new variety.C. affinis Sing. is indicated for Europe.C. microsperma Sing. is the new name ofC. microspora (Vel.)Dennis ss.Dennis. A full description of nine taxa of this group is given and a key to 11 taxa occurring in Europe added. Seven taxa are illustrated for the first time with colored photographs. All taxa known to us from other continents and belonging to theC. mesospora group have been compared with the most similar European species or varieties.
