Notes: Summary In the treatment of congenital hand and foot anomalies, careful planning is necessary. In some anomalies, early surgical treatment is recommended. We report an operation on a 7-day-old boy with ring constriction and severe lymphedema in his right lower leg, together with acrosyndactyly in his left foot and both hands. A few days after the initial operation, the lymphedema and malalignment of the fingers were dramatically corrected. The observations made during the patient's postoperative course are interesting and may be of benefit in similar cases.
