Zusammenfassung Dibenzepin ist unter dem NamenNoveril ® als Antidepressivum in die Therapie eingeführt. Akzidenteile und suicidale Intoxikationen mit letalem Ausgang veranlaßten die Ausarbeitung von Methoden für den qualitativen Nachweis und die quantitative Bestimmung vonDibenzepin und seinen Metaboliten in Körperflüssigkeiten und Organen. Vergleichende Prüfung gebräuchlicher Extraktions- und Reinigungsmethoden zeigte, daß Eiweiß fällende Agenzien wegen Mitfällung desDibenzepins nicht verwendbar sind. Für den qualitativen Nachweis und die halbquantitative Bestimmung eignet sich die Dünnschichtchromatographie. Für quantitative Bestimmungen ist die Gaschromatographie die zuverlässigste Methode.

Summary Dibenzepine is marketed under the name Noveril® as an antidepressive agent. Fatal instances of accidental and suicidal intoxication have induced the elaboration of methods for the qualitative detection and the quantitative determination ofDibenzepine and of its metabolites in body fluids and in organs. Comparative testing of customary methods of extraction and purification have shown that protein precipitating agents are not applicable on account of the simultaneous precipitation ofDibenzepine. Thin-layer chromatography is suitable for the qualitative detection and for the semi-quantitative determination. Gas chromatography is the most reliable method for quantitative determination.
