Zusammenfassung Im Zeitraum 1972–1975 wurden im Bergmannsheil Bochum 38 frische Kniehandverletzungen operativ versorgt. Es handelte sich um 22 isolierte und kombinierte und um 16 komplexe Bandverletzungen oder inkompl. Kniezerreißungen. Die 32 Innenbandrisse und 4 Außenbandrisse wurden nach zwei verschiedenen Methoden versorgt: 18mal durch Naht allein und 20mal durch die Kombination nahtverstärkende Sehnenplastik. Bei der Nachuntersuchung aller Fälle zeigte sich bei der Laxität und Beweglichkeit kein Vorteil der einen Methode gegenüber der anderen. Dagegen zeigte die v.Sp. vermehrte Schmerzhaftigkeit an der distalen Verankerung.

Summary In “Bergmannsheil” Bochum between 1972 and 1975 38 acute ruptures of knee ligaments were operated on. We differentiated 22 isolated or combined and 16 complex injuries or subtotal ruptures of the knee. The 32 medial and 6 lateral collateral ligaments were treated by two different methods. 18 by suture only and 20 by suture combined with flapped tenoplasty. We followed up all cases. The examination of laxity and range of movement showed no advantage of either method. But patients with tenoplasty often complained of pain or discomfort at the insertion site of the plastic We cannot recommend this procedure generally in fresh injuries.
