Abstract Leaf exudates from the short-day (SD) strawberry (Fragaria × ananassa Duch.) cv. Elsanta were analysedfor gibberellin (GA) content using combined gaschromatography – mass spectrometry (GC-MS). Comparison of full-scan mass spectra and Kovatsretention indices (KRIs) with those of standardsrevealed the presence of GA1, GA3, 3-epiGA1 and GA3-isolactone.
