    Description / Table of Contents: Naturally Occurring Terpene Derivatives, XLV. On the Constituents of Scaevola lobelia (Th) Murr.The investigation of Scaevola lobelia (Th) Murr. yields traces of the polyyne 1 as well as the coumarins 2 and 4 and esters of the terpene aldehyde 3. Furtheron a triterpene acetate (6) has been isolated, its structure being elucidated by spectroscopic methods. The relationships of the family Goodeniaceae are discussed.
    Notes: Die Untersuchung von Scaevola lobelia (Th) Murr. ergibt Spuren des Polyins 1 sowie die Cumarine 2 und 4 und Ester des Terpenaldehyds 3. Außerdem wird ein Triterpenacetat (6) isoliert und in seiner Konstitution durch spektroskopische Methoden geklärt. Die verwandtschaftlichen Beziehungen der Familie Goodeniaceae werden diskutiert.

    Description / Table of Contents: On Constituents of the Genus FlourensiaThe investigation of two species of the genus Flourensia yields, besides the already known characteristic acetylenic compounds of the tribe, mainly 4-hydroxyacetophenone derivatives. 14 compounds (2-4, 8, 11, 13, 14, 18-23, and 25) have not been isolated before. Their structures have been elucidated by spectroscopic methods.
    Notes: Die Untersuchung von zwei Arten der Gattung Flourensia zeigt, daß hier neben bereits bekannten, für die Tribus charakteristischen Acetylenverbindungen vor allem 4-Hydroxyacetophenon-Derivate vorkommen. 14 Verbindungen (2-4, 8, 11, 13, 14, 18-23 und 25) sind bisher noch nicht isoliert worden. Ihre Konstitutionen werden durch spektroskopische Methoden geklärt.

Further Constituents of Representatives from the Eupatorium GroupThe investigation of an Ayapana species leads to the isolation of euparine derivatives. Compounds of this type are known from many other representatives of the Eupatorium group. The constitution of three new compounds (3-5) is elucidated. An Austroeupatorium species however contains no compounds of this type but besides some known diterpenes five new diterpenes (10-13 and 15), their constitution being elucidated by spectroscopic methods and some chemical reactions.
    Notes: Die Untersuchung einer Ayapana-Art ergibt, daß sie wie mehrere andere Vertreter der Eupatorium-Gruppe Euparin-Derivate enthält. Die Konstitution von drei neuen Verbindungen (3-5) wurde geklärt. Eine Austroeupatorium-Art enthält dagegen keine derartigen Verbindungen, sondern neben einigen bereits bekannten fünf neue Diterpene (10-13 und 15), deren Konstitution durch spektroskopische Methoden und einige chemische Reaktionen geklärt wird.

The structures are elucidated by their spectral data and the biogenetical relationships are discussed.
    Notes: Die zum Tribus Heliantheae gehörende Helianthella uniflora enthält neben Spuren des weitverbreiteten Pentain-ens1 zahlreiche Acetophenon-Derivate(2-12), die alle einen Isopentenyl-Rest als Seitenkette oder als Teil von Ringsystemen besitzen. Die Strukturen ergeben sich aus den spektralen Daten. Ihre biogenetischen Beziehungen werden diskutiert.
