    Description / Table of Contents: On the Electron Donor Ability of the Aziridine CarbonUsing the N-acylaziridine-allyl amide rearrangement as a model reaction an attempt was made to gain information concerning the donor ability of the aziridine ring system by means of a kinetic experiment. The rate constants for the ring opening of the cis 2-substituted 3-methylaziridines 6 are mainly determined by steric factors. From the data derived for the trans series lower limits for the interaction energy between π substituents and the aziridine ring carbon can be estimated.
    Notes: Mit der N-Acylaziridin-Allylamid-Umlagerung als Modellreaktion wird durch ein kinetisches Experiment versucht, Aussagen über die Elektronendonorfähigkeit des Ethylenimin-Ringsystems zu erhalten. In der Reihe der 2-ständig cis-substituierten 3-Methylaziridine 6 werden die Umlagerungskonstanten vorwiegend durch sterische Faktoren bestimmt. Aus den Daten der trans-Serie lassen sich untere Grenzen für die Wechselwirkungsenergie von π-Substituenten mit dem Aziridinkohlenstoff abschätzen.
