Zusammenfassung Es wird über die Verlaufskontrolle der Therapie mit forcierter Diurese und extrakorporaler Hämodialyse bei Thalliumvergiftungen berichtet. Der Erfolg der einzelnen Maßnahmen konnte während der Therapie durch Bestimmung des Thalliumgehaltes mittels flammenloser Atom-Absorptions-Spektrophotometrie in Erbrochenem, Blut, Stuhl, Urin und Dialysat kontrolliert werden. Der Einfluß von forcierter Diarrhoe, forcierter Diurese und extrakorporaler Hämodialyse auf die Elimination von Thallium und seine Konzentration im Blut wird diskutiert.

Abstract A report is given on the control of the thallium level at poisoning during therapy with forced diuresis and extracorporeal hemodialysis. The success of these methods was controlled by the determination of the thallium level in vomit, blood, urine and dialysate by flameless atomic absorption spectrophotometry. Since the results are obtaned within a few minutes, thallium measurements may be helpfull for the decision on the therapy to be applied.
