Zusammenfassung Die Untersuchung analysiert 22 operationstechnische Fehler, die bei 459 Osteosynthesen des Jahres 1974 aufgetreten waren. Nicht einbezogen wurden Fehler in der Wahl des Osteosyntheseverfahrens, falsche Zugangswege zum Operations feld, Läsionen von Sehnen, Nerven und Gefäßen. Es erfolgte eine Gliederung in falsche Lage von Implantaten, Fehlstellung der Fragmente und die primäre Instabilität. In 7 Fällen konnte durch intraoperative Korrektur, 6mal durch entsprechende postoperative Nachbehandlung der Schaden behoben werden, 9mal war ein Zweiteingriff erforderlich. Die Verfahrensweise wird geschildert.

Summary This study analyzes 22 errors in operation technique that occurred within the series of 459 cases of internal fixation performed in 1974. Not included are errors due to the choice of method for internal fixation, wrong approaches to the operative area, lesions of tendons, nerves or blood vessels, and weakness in postoperative care. The data presented are classified by wrong position of implants, wrong positioning of fragments, and primary instability. Intraoperative correction was possible in 7 cases and correction by means of postoperative treatment in 6 cases; in 9 cases a second operation had to be performed.
