Notizen: Summary Complicated migraine is regarded as a cerebrovascular syndrome of functional character. In the case of a young man with cervical migraine associated with paroxysmal neurological disorders and persisting EEG abnormalities, stellate ganglion blocks were performed under EEG control. A transient amelioration of the pathological EEG pattern was observed after each stellate ganglion block and after several treatments the EEG was normal and the migraine attacks disappeared. The pathophysiology of the effect of stellate ganglion block on cerebral blood flow is discussed.

Notizen: Abstract The dynamics of the ionisation process of He by swift proton impact is discussed. Experimental results exploiting recoil-ion momentum spectroscopy (RIMS) are compared to results of nCTMC calculations. It is shown that the three body momentum exchange has explicitely to be taken into account to understand the scattering of the projectile in ionising collisions. For scattering angles around 0.55 mrad the scattering of the projectile at the target nucleus is of comparable strength to the scattering at the ionised electron. The electron emission is directed opposite to the scattered projectile for these scattering angles.
