    Notes: Zusammenfassung Das Bandenspektrum des AgH-Moleküls wurde neu aufgenommen und 60 Banden des1Σ-1Σ-Systems analysiert; Schwingungstermdifferenzen und Rotations-konstanten des unteren Elektronenterms wurden berechnet. Durch Anwendung der Methode der B′-B″-Kurven wurde die starke homogene Störung des oberen Zustandes analysiert. Die Termreihen zweier einander störenden Elektronenterme,1Σa und1Σb, bilden ein Gewebe, in dem die Rotationstermfolgen mit verschiedensten Schwingungsquantenzahlen wechselseitig ineinander über-gehen. In dieser Weise werden die Anomalien der Rotations- und Schwingungs-termdifferenzen an den oberen Molekülzuständen, die ungewöhnliche Intensitäts-verteilung in den Banden und die unregelmäßigen Isotopieaufspaltungen der Bandenlinien verständlich.

    Notes: Six aromatic aldehydes (benzaldehyde, cinnamaldehyde (trans) α-naphtaldehyde, β-naphtaldehyde, 9-phenanthrenaldehyde and 9-anthracenaldehyde) have been polarographically investigated in Britton-Robinson buffers containing 50% ethanol, over the range of pH = 2 t o pH = 13. It is shown that the characteristic half-wave potentials and E½(1)0 and E½(1)* may both be calculated a priori by zeroth order MO theory.

    Notes: Using theLCAO-MO theory in its usual approximation, it is shown that the spectroscopic, polarographic and chemical evidence concerning the azulenealdehyde lactaroviolin is only compatible with structure III. The correlation between the carbonyl stretching frequency ṽCO and the characteristic half-wave potential E1/2(1)0 of aromatic aldehydes is discussed.
