Notes: Abstract: High-spin states in 167Hf, populated in the 141Pr(30Si, p3n)167Hf reaction, have been studied using the nordball Ge detector array. Three rotational cascades have been observed for the first time and the previously-known level scheme has been extended to significantly higher spin. Band-crossing effects are discussed within the framework of Woods-Saxon cranking calculations and are found to be in good agreement.

Notes: Abstract. The decay of 170W* formed in reactions with two different projectile - target combinations was studied. The observed differences in the average number of emitted neutrons suggest an entrance channel effect at the highest excitation energy and angular momentum. It may be explained by different excitation energies of the equilibrated system, resulting from the emission of pre-equilibrium α-particles during a longer fusion time, in the more symmetric reaction.

Notes: Abstract: The neutron deficient nucleus 108Te was studied in the 54Fe(58Ni,2p2n) reaction. A detector system consisting of 4 Euroball cluster detectors, a charged-particle detector ball and a 16 element neutron multiplicity filter was used to detect the emitted particles and γ rays. A new, significantly extended level scheme was constructed on the basis of γγ-coincidence relations. Spin values for the states were determined from angular distribution ratios. The experimental results are discussed in terms of the shell model.
