The structure of cassamine and erythrophlamine

Zusammenfassung

Es wird gezeigt, dass Cassamin und Erythrophlamin, zwei kristalline Nebenalkaloide ausErythrophleum guineense G. Don, neben den anderen schon bekannten Sauerstoffunktionen je eine stark gehinderte Carbomethoxy-Gruppe enthalten. Durch Überführung in Verbindungen bekannter Konstitution wird Formel Ib für Cassamin und Formel II b für Erythrophlamin bewiesen.
