Résumé

La solvolyse et la réduction éventuelle du tétrakis-acétate de mercure de benzéne avec le ferrocène conduisent à la formation d'une part de benzyl-alcohol et d'anisole au sein du méthanol et d'autre part à la production de diphénylméthane au sein du toluène. L'origine de ces produits est discutée.
