Summary
The authors have developed a technique for the production of strip electrodes for the mechanized surfacing of machine parts with a wear-resistant, age-hardening Fe-Co-Mo alloy. Service tests of punching dies surfaced with these electrodes by the E. O. Paton Electric Welding Institute gave good results.
