Conclusions
-
1.
We developed a methodology for the investigation of primary and secondary amines which includes their acylation in a chromato-mass spectrometer column with trifluoroacetic anhydride or with heptafluorobutyryl chloride.
-
2.
Under the action of electron impact N-trifluoroacetyl and N-heptafluorobutyryl derivatives of alkylamines RCH2NH2 form [M-R]+ and [M-(R-H)]+ ions, and the analogous derivatives of n-dialkylamines (RCH2)2NH form [M-R]+ and [M-R-(R-H)]+ ions.
