Conclusions

1. The reactive parameters of the hydraulic test bench do not affect the accuracy of reproduction of mean values of output and pressure.

2. The model “Istra” test bench can be used to calibrate the output of any model of AH and it ensures satisfactory reproducibility of the results.

3. The method of analysis of the experimental results is such that graphs can be plotted to show the relationship between the output of the AH prosthesis as a function of the control parameters and the minute volume of the AH can be determined approximately in experiments in vivo without transducers inside the prosthesis.
