On the generation mechanism of aromatic cation-radicals under adsorption on zeolites

Abstract

Nonempirical quantum-chemical calculations suggest a molecular model for oxygen adsorption on Lewis acid sites of zeolites. This adsorption complex is assumed to be capable of acting as an electron acceptor in the generation of benzene cation-radicals.

На основе неэмпирических квантовохимических расчетов предложена молекулярная модель адсорбции кислорода на льюисовском кислотном центре цеолита. Сделано предположение о том, что такой адсорбционный комплекс способен выступать в качестве акцептора электрона в процессе образования катион-радикалов бензола.
