Summary

The mean percentage of autologous and ‘active’ rosette-forming T lymphocytes was determined in peripheral blood of 21 untreated patients with nonmetastatic squamous-cell lung carcinoma. The percentage of active rosettes was slightly lower in the patients than in normal individuals, but the difference was not statistically significant. No difference was found for autologous rosettes between patients and controls. No correlation was demonstrable between autologous and active rosettes in this group of patients (r=0.055).
