Summary
We have assessed the value of adding low dose radiotherapy to preoperative chemotherapy in 20 patients with high grade malignant bone tumours. Histology of the resected specimens showed a considerable tumouricidal effect and a distinct capsule enclosing the extraosseous part of the tumour. There were no serious side effects.
