Summary
Making use of a complicated injection method, whereby the upper enblooded part of the body is irrigated by Berliner Blau or silver nitrate, not only the topographic course but also the angioarchitectural framework of the endothelian and muscular cells of the inner ear vessels of the guinea pig are outlined. Staining with silver reveals a characteristic form of the endothelium cells from the arterial towards the venous end of the terminal vessels of the cochlea. By means of this method on one side a morphologic classification of the vessels on the other side a clear nomenclature are possible.
