Summary
The importance and necessity of an endoscopic examination in case of suspected foreign body is demonstrated by endoscopic findings in the ear, nose and paranasal sinuses, the pharynx and esophagus as well as in the larynx, trachea and bronchial system.
The principles, advantages and limitations of endoscopic foreign body removal are shown.
