Zusammenfassung

Es wird über den Ausbau des toxikologisch-chemischen Laboratoriums am Gerichtlich-medizinischen Institut der Universität Zürich berichtet. Der Einsatz moderner instrumental-analystischer Verfahren ist anhand von Beispielen aus der Gaschromatographie (Bestimmung von Schlafmitteln und Pestiziden mit der „Dual Channel“ Anordnung), der Infrarot-Spektrophotometrie (Identifikation von Barbituraten) und der atomaren Absorptions-Analyse (Erfassung von Spuren-Metallen) illustriert.

Summary

A report is made on the instrumentation in the Laboratory for Chemical Toxicology at the Institute of Legal Medicine of Zurich University. The application of modern analytical methods is illustrated by means of examples taken from gas chromatography (determination of soporifics and pesticides using a dual channel system), infrared spectrophotometry (identification of barbiturates) and atomic absorption analysis (determination of trace metals).
