Summary

Abnormalities of the pancreatic duct system are mainly responsible for pancreatic complications of gastric resections for ulcers. — During radical surgery for gastric cancer with essential simultaneous splenectomy, central ligation of the splenic artery should be avoided as, in the presence of certain anomalies of the arterial supply to the pancreas, fatal necrosis of the pancreas may occur. — The author describes the vascular anomalies demonstrated by corrosion anatomy and arteriography.

Zusammenfassung

Bei Ulcusresektionen sind in erster Linie Variationen des Pankreasgangsystems für Pankreaskomplikationen verantwortlich. — Bei der Radikaloperation des Magenkrebses mit notwendiger gleichzeitiger Milzexstirpation sollte eine zentrale Milzarterienligatur unterbleiben, da bei bestimmten Variaten der arteriellen Versorgung des Pankreas eine tödliche Pankreasnekrose droht. —Schilderung der korrosionsanatomisch und arteriographisch erarbeiteten Gefäßvarianten.
