Über die Brauchbarkeit des Kristallviolett-Testes zur Differenzierung von Staphylococcus aureus-Stämmen

Summary

The Crystal-violet (CV)-test is a simple resource, applicable in many ways with the differentiation of Staphylococcus aureus. It gives valuable directions which are useful for the testing of base-varieties. As to the distinction between Staphylococcus aureus and the var. bovis and var. canis it is indispensable indeed. Above this, it is useful for the preliminary selection of Staphylococcus aureus strains which are to be phage-typed.

Zusammenfassung

Der Kristallviolett (KV)-Test ist ein einfaches, vielseitig verwendbares Hilfsmittel zur Differenzierung von Staphylococeus aureus. — Er gibt wertvolle Hinweise zur Bestimmung von Standortvarianten; zur Unterscheidung von Staphylococeus aureus und der Var. bovis und Var. canis ist er geradezu unentbehrlich. Darüber hinaus ist er für die Vorauslese von Staphylococcus aureus-Stämmen zur Lysotypie sehr nützlich.
