Summary
3-Acetylpyridin was found to inhibit the secretion of bromthalein. The associated decrease of lactate and adenosintriphosphate content of the rat liver and the lower activity of the glucose-6-phosphatdehydrogenase and 6-phosphogluconatedehydrogenase are discussed and found to be related to bile- and bromthalein secretion.
