Zusammenfassung
-
1.
Summary
-
1.
Most part of the fibres that innervate the small vessels have a plexiform disposition. This plexus is in close contact with the terminal plexus of the smooth muscle.
-
2.
The extirpation of the superior cervical ganglion of the cat, determines the degeneration of the vascular nerves of the nictating membrane.
-
3.
This degeneration affects the major part of the fibres, not only those axis cylinders or independent fibres, but also the terminal plexus, and it happens to be here exactly, where degeneration is more accentuated.
-
4.
The real capillar vessels of the nictating membrane have real innervation, just like any other portion of the peripheral vascular system. The nervous fibres of this system degenerate also after the section of the superior cervical ganglion.
-
5.
Together with those fibres of plexiform disposition, we must include other fibres that have a neurite aspect. All fibres act as real axons and they all degenerate after extirpation of the superior cervical ganglion.
-
6.
The intimate relations between nervous fibres and the vascular walls make us believe that the synapse is established by simple contact (so-called “difuse synapse” byde Castro). There is always a fine layer ofSchwann cell protoplasm between the two poles of this synapse.
-
7.
It is probable that the independent fibres or axons may belong to the parasympathetic, while those of plexiform dispositon may belong to the sympathetic.
Résumé
-
1.
