Summary
cDNA clones of the neuraminidase gene from the reassortant influenza virus X-7 (F1) have different sequences. Some clones are more closely related to A/Tokyo/67 neuraminidase than to the A/RI/5+/57 NA gene from which the NA of X-7 (F1) was derived.
