Abstract
CONTRADICTIONS as to the exact structure of the nuclear apparatus of yeast have been due in part to the invisibility of the nucleus in living cells. In recent years in vivo studies of the nucleus have been made1,5, but division of the nucleus in live cells has not been observed.
