Interactions of DDT with the Nervous System of the Resistant and Susceptible German Cockroaches

Abstract

DDT is regarded as a nerve poison in insects and mammals chiefly from the symptomological, electrophysiological and biochemical points of view1,2. The actual mechanism of DDT poisoning at the target, however, is not known.
