Langzeitbehandlung mit Oestrogen bei von früher Jugend an daran gewöhnten männlichen Ratten ergibt einen vollständigen Schutz gegen Spontanfibrosis der Langerhansschen Inseln und ist ebenso wirksam gegen senile Nierenveränderungen.
