Abstract
The experimental data on the hyperfine structure of metastable even parity states in103Rh have been analysed by means of an effective-operator formalism. The effective radial parameters of the magnetic dipole interaction are determined, using wave functions in intermediate coupling. The comparison with relativistic calculations gives an estimate of the effects due to configuration interaction.
