Conclusions
The reaction of Et3GeLi with the N,N-dialkylamides of the benzoic, acetic, and trimethylacetic acids leads to the corresponding acyltriethylgermanes, RCOGeEt3, and the products of their transformation by the Li derivatives that are present.
