Study and analysis of corrosion products of underground steel tube using Mössbauer effect method

Abstract

In the present work, the phases of corrosion products of underground steel tube and its changes with degree of depth of rust layer were analysed using Mössbauer effect, X-ray diffraction analysis and proton X-ray fluorescence analysis. The procedure of rust formation was discussed.
