Abstract
Extracts of thirty six Agaricales fungi were assayed for their antibacterial activity against Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 6538, Bacillus subtilis ATCC 6633 and Escherichia coli UCCL51. Approximately thirty species showed activity against one or more of the tested organisms.
