Theory of movement of irregularities in the ionosphere

Abstract

We review and criticize theoretical works on the movement of irregularities in the ionosphere. It is shown that the basic question of the problem has already been answered. We point out unsolved problems relative to growth and decay of irregularities in an application of the present theories.
