Abstract
A TLC-method is proposed, which permits a rapid separation and quantitative determination of lutein and zeaxanthin in corn grain. After elimination of neutral lipids by Al2O3-chromatography, the detection and also the quantitative determination of small amounts of lutein diester in corn grain was possible.
