Ein richtungsempfindliches Zählrohr und seine Anwendung beim Li8→Be8*-Zerfall

Abstract

A new type of proportional counter having a directional dependent efficiency has been used to measure the angular distribution of the α-particles of Be8 in the reaction Li8→Be8*. From the experiment an upper limit of 10% for the amount of the Fermi contribution in the Li8 beta-decay is deduced.
