The amino acid-composition of epidermis-fractions of guinea pigs and hairless mice

  • Published:
Archiv für dermatologische Forschung Aims and scope Submit manuscript

Summary

Several fractions of isolated epidermis of guinea pigs and hairless mice, obtained after extraction with trichloracetic acid or KOH respectively, were investigated for the composition of amino acids and related substances. The results are discussed with regard to similar observations, especially in human epidermis and cornified products.
