Summary

From January 1, 1960 — April 15, 1980, 3746 patients were operated on for endocrine diseases (hyperparathyroidismn = 301, pancreasn = 60, pheochromocytoman = 34, adrenal cortexn = 109, goitern = 3242). Among these, 7 patients had the MEA I syndrome and 3 the MEA II syndrome since 1969. Characteristics, diagnostic procedures, indication for operation and treatment of MEA syndromes as well as own results are described.

Zusammenfassung

Vom 1.1.1960 bis 15.4.1980 wurden 3746 Patienten wegen endokriner Erkrankungen (Hyperparathyreoidismusn = 301, Pankreasn = 60, Phäochromocytomn = 34, Nebennierenrinden = 109, Struman = 3242) operiert. Hierunter fanden sich ab 1969 7 Patienten mit MEA I und 3 Patienten mit MEA II. Charakteristica, Diagnostik, Operationsindikation und Therapie der MEA-Syndrome sowie die eigenen Ergebnisse werden dargestellt.
